Hadrian's Wall was built in AD 122-30 by order of the Emperor Hadrian.

Hadrian's Wall was 73 miles long.

Hadrian's Wall ran from Wallsend-on-Tyne in the East of England to Bowness on the Solway Firth in the West of England.

Hadrian's Wall had a dual purpose: It kept out people and tribes that were not part of the Roman Empire, and it also served as a border control for the collection of taxes for the Roman Empire.

Hadrian's Wall was built by Roman Soldiers of the Second, Sixth, and Twentieth Legions.
